Welcome to
Manorfield C.E. Primary School

At Manorfield Church of England Primary School, every child is part of our 'Manorfield Family'. We aim to offer our children an exciting curriculum, that nurtures a love of learning as well as developing them as individuals. Our staff are caring and consider each child as unique.  We are a busy and friendly school, with lots going on - hopefully this website will give you a flavour of our school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

Caring, Sharing and Inspiring

Back in 2017, our Year 6 children reflected on their journey at Manorfield and identified three key words that they felt truly captured the spirit of the school: Caring, Sharing, and Inspiring. These words have since become the core of our Manorfield message, embraced by children, staff, and the wider community.

The Manorfield message of Caring, Sharing, and Inspiring connects deeply with the teachings in Matthew 25:35-36, where Jesus highlights acts of compassion and kindness as essential expressions of faith:

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me."

In this passage, Jesus calls for empathy, generosity, and service—values that align closely with "Caring" (showing compassion and support), "Sharing" (helping others through generosity), and "Inspiring" (encouraging others to live with kindness and faith). By embracing these principles, Manorfield children and staff mirror these teachings, building a school community grounded in care and empathy for others.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our school; we look forward to welcoming you to our school in the future.

Best wishes,

Mrs. E Thompson - Headteacher
